What happens here

With the ladder securely positioned as an extension ladder, carefully ascend the rungs. Always maintain three points of contact (either two hands and one foot, or two feet and one hand) on the ladder at all times for maximum stability. Once you reach the desired working height, position yourself to comfortably perform the task at hand.
