New boot goofin’ 🤷🏼‍♂️

What happens here

Once the post anchor is securely in place, cut pieces of plywood or solid wood to precisely infill the gaps around the post anchor's base, ensuring a tight fit between the metal and the existing roof sheathing. Secure these infill pieces with fasteners if necessary. Next, lay new pieces of roof underlayment, such as ice and water shield, over the infill pieces and the base of the post anchor sleeve. Ensure these new underlayment pieces overlap the existing underlayment by at least 6 inches on all sides and are properly adhered to create a waterproof barrier.

Goal: Provide support and initial waterproofing
