Install and Secure Post Anchor Base

What happens here

With the opening created in the sheathing, insert the metal roof post anchor sleeve into the hole. The base of the anchor should rest flush with the roof sheathing. Position the anchor so that it is plumb and aligned with any underlying structural elements (rafters or blocking) to which it will be secured. Use a drill/driver with appropriate structural screws to securely fasten the base of the metal post anchor to the roof structure. Ensure all screws are driven firmly for a strong connection.
