What happens here

Once the lumber pieces are precisely cut to length, the carpenter transitions to assembling the structure. Each cut piece is lifted and positioned against a main structural member, such as a ledger board or rim joist, which is likely already anchored. A pneumatic framing nailer is then used to rapidly and securely fasten the joist to the ledger. This method provides strong connections quickly, advancing the structural framing process. The video shows the joists being installed at even intervals, typical of floor or deck framing.

Goal: After cutting, position the lumber against the existing structural member (e.g., a ledger board) and secure it using a pneumatic framing nailer for strong, rapid connections.
