My 90's Newell Coach: 7 Things I Hate..and 7 Things I Love! (6 Months of RV Ownership Thoughts)

What happens here

The owner discusses the first issue: the tag tires (rear auxiliary tires) rub on the RV's frame when the air suspension is fully aired down. This is a common problem in older Newell models of this vintage. He points out the wear marks on the frame and tire. From a DIY perspective, this indicates a potential need for suspension adjustment, modification to the wheel well, or careful management of air pressure.

Goal: Identify and understand the issue of tag tires rubbing on the frame.
