Final Temporary Arrangement of Sawmill Components
At 8:56 in
More VINTAGE IRON arrives on the farm...but what the heck is it?
What happens here
To prepare for future assembly and permanent installation, the John Deere skid steer is utilized once more to finalize the temporary arrangement of the sawmill components. The carriage is precisely aligned on new, stable wooden blocks, ensuring it's level and ready. The power unit is similarly positioned on its designated wooden supports, placed appropriately in relation to the main mill structure. All other parts of the sawmill are neatly organized on additional wooden pieces, setting the stage for the construction of a dedicated sawmill building.
Goal: The skid steer is used to make final adjustments to the temporary placement of the sawmill's carriage, power unit, and other components on wooden blocks, optimizing their layout for future assembly.
