Lay Field and Border Pavers

What happens here

With the screed bed meticulously prepared, the actual paver laying process begins. The main field pavers, 'Alpine Contemporary', are laid first, following a straight line established by the perimeter walls. A triple border is installed around the field pavers using 'Old Vienna' in Raven, 'Montauk' in Granite City, followed by another layer of 'Old Vienna' in Raven. This intricate border provides structural stability and aesthetic appeal. String lines are frequently used as references, and pavers are staggered for a strong interlock. Any paver needing adjustment is gently tapped with a rubber mallet.
