Mask Off Adjacent Surfaces

What happens here

Before spraying, meticulously mask off all surfaces adjacent to the block walls that are not intended to be sealed. This includes metal door jambs, which will be painted later, and any metal trim or other elements above the block. Since silicone is difficult to remove and prevents other coatings from adhering, precise masking is crucial to avoid a future painting nightmare. Use masking tape and paper to cover these areas.

Goal: Carefully mask off any adjacent surfaces that should not receive the silicone sealer, such as metal door jambs and metal trim, to prevent permanent adhesion issues.
