What happens here

To achieve professional-looking results, first, apply Frog Tape along the top edge of the trim. Prior to the final cut-in, clear caulking will be applied along this taped edge to create perfectly crisp paint lines. Next, inspect the walls for any imperfections, such as rough stippling or spackled areas from previous repairs. Use a 360-degree pole sander to gently sand these rough spots until the wall surface is smooth. This step is crucial for achieving an even texture and a polished finish, especially in homes with 'Sun Valley texture' which can have scattered voids. Sand until the walls feel smooth like paper.

Goal: Mask the top of the trim with Frog Tape to prepare for caulking and sanding, ensuring a smooth, imperfection-free wall surface before painting.

paint in our tray we're gonna be masking our trim the top of our trim with frog tape and then prior to our final cut in will be caulking that with clear caulking so we get perfectly crisp lines but we'll probably have to spray two coats or not spray but roll two coats on the walls so we're gonna cut in roll one coat and then roll a final coat and then we'll be done but we do have one thing McKinny you can grab that pole right there because these walls the previous painters had a lot of kind of bad little imperfections all over the walls and they're gonna need to be sanded first and this is a 360 degree just pole sander and I'm gonna have McKenna just sand these walls and all you got to do is just go up and down any wherever you spackle McKenna's spackle the whole bunch of things you just gotta you'll rub it over and sand those spots because this is a Sun Valley texture it's a smooth texture with kind of some voids everywhere here and there and we want it to look really good but there's a lot of rough stippling on the wall and we want to kind of you knock that down yo first and smooth it out I know when I was going over the walls there is quite a few rough spots on these walls McKenna and we don't want them rough like sandpaper so let's get on with the painting process okay the next step in rolling no
