Test the Repaired Stopper

What happens here

Place the fully reassembled sink stopper back into the kitchen drain. Turn on the water and verify that the stopper now remains open, allowing water to drain freely. To seal the drain, push down on the stopper and twist it into the locked position. To open it again, twist to release and the spring should push it up to allow drainage. The stopper should no longer close automatically, solving the initial problem.

Goal: Verify the sink stopper functions correctly and no longer closes automatically.
