Kitchen Sink Drain Stopper is Faulty...SO I FIXED IT!
What happens here
Remove the sink stopper from the drain. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, unscrew the central screw on the top of the stopper. This will allow you to separate the stopper's handle assembly from its main basket component.
Goal: Separate the sink stopper components to access the internal mechanism.
