Junkyard Electric Fan Hunting: The $20 Fans That Beat Almost Everything! (What To Look For)

What happens here

Position the newly acquired Thunderbird fan against the custom car's radiator. Observe how well it fits and covers the radiator area. Note that its integrated shroud design provides much better airflow compared to the previous universal fans without shrouds. The plan is to create a separate video for the actual installation and street testing, considering different wiring options (low speed, high speed, or ECU-controlled two-speed) based on the 30-amp fuses available in the car's fuse box.

Goal: Confirm fan fitment and outline next steps for installation and testing

i think we did something guys now you see it's not quite as wide as the whole radiator in this thing but it's good enough it's still gonna do the job because of the integrated shroud heck of a lot better than these little things that have no shroud at all top to bottom wise it's about perfect if i really wanted to i could probably like cut the sides off and make it a little bit wider but i really don't think i'm gonna need to do that i'm excited so we're gonna make the actual installation and street testing of this fan a separate video because that'll be enough to be its own video i kind of want to try wiring it up on low speed first and see if that's enough just to not overload the relays and stuff in here because i think the fan relays in this thing are uh both 30 amp fuses so i don't want to overload them also i wouldn't order harness from these people it's not that great but um yeah they're only 30 amp fuses so if we can if it works fine on the low speed we'll do that but if not i'll run on the high speed and
