It's so easy! How to Install and secure a simple floating Pond Dock

What happens here

With the dock now positioned on the bank, the presenter installs the aluminum pole brackets. These brackets are designed to slide into the integral side channels of the dock. T-bolts are inserted into the channel, passed through the bracket, and secured with washers and nuts. The presenter demonstrates tightening these components, ensuring the brackets are firmly attached. The modular design of the dock allows for easy attachment of accessories like these pole brackets.

Goal: T-bolts, washers, and nuts are used to secure the aluminum pole brackets into the side channels of the floating dock, ensuring proper spacing and alignment.

we've got the dock over here where we're going to put it we're going to be pushing the dock off into the pond but why not while we have the pallet forks go ahead and install all the bracketry while it's up in the air so this is a bracket that holds two rods that go down into the muck into the mud and anchor this dock into place and we're going to mount this centered eight inches from the edge very very simple the dock system here has a Groove in it right there a channel that you can hold various things in other words flow has chairs flow has slips flow has other docks so you can make this a totally modular system I don't want to say the word Lego but it fits together much like an erector set or a Lego set for your pond or your lake so if you're out on a bigger Lake then this little two and a half acre Farm Pond then you can build an elaborate dock the material that the dock is made made of is really something special I'm going to bring you in and get you a little close-up of it the other dock that we did had a wood finish this dock has a gray finish now the gray finish is going to be cooler on your feet so if you're walking barefoot out to get in your boat this is the color that I'd recommend the other color will get a little bit warmer in the summer months so so if you live in a cool environment you may want to go with the wood duck the wood really looks good it's a powder coated wood grain and this is a powder coated gray so in various locations on the dock you have this little cutout right here the cutout is totally set to fit the bolts that mount things up in here and this is a nylon locking nut so we'll stick that guy in we'll get them slightly started just like so and then that slides down to the end and we'll do the next one just like so we'll get it slightly started about three threads in there and then that slides down to the end then we'll repeat this process down here and that will line up with our holes in our mounting bracket that's cool in the mounting bracket go these long tubes on the ends of the tubes go these anchors and these anchors just screw right into the pond muck so let's get busy and get this installed we're almost ready to roll the dock in we've got one more thing we have to install which is the attachment point for the ramp all right guys so we've got that bracket
