Verify Fence Functionality

What happens here

After the fence is set up, turn on the electric fence energizer. Drive the utility vehicle along the newly fenced area to check the polywire. Look for any areas where the wire is too low and touching the ground or dense grass, as this can cause the fence to 'short out' and lose its effectiveness. If necessary, adjust the polywire by lifting it off obstructions or adding more posts to maintain proper height and tension. The cows will quickly learn to respect the electric fence.
