Drive the utility vehicle to the pasture where the cattle are located. Before allowing the cattle access to a new section, check that you have enough step-in fence posts and electric fence polywire to create a temporary fence line. This temporary fence will block off new hay bales and prevent the cows from wasting hay. If any electric fence is active, ensure the fence charger is turned off before handling wires or gates to prevent shocks.
