Before any painting begins, thoroughly prepare the room. This includes laying down drop cloths to protect the entire floor, especially hardwood. Use FrogTape to carefully mask around all baseboards and any other areas that should not be painted. For windows, mask them off completely with FrogTape and plastic sheeting to prevent overspray. The entry door to the room should also be removed and leaned against a wall for easier painting, or at least masked off if remaining in place. Cover the entry with plastic to contain dust and paint particles within the work area.

Then we ran 9-in paper with 1 in 2020 tape around that. Master our windows off with uh frog tape and plastic. And now we're ready to go. Got the sprayer set up right here, setting on drop cloth so no overspray will or any paint will get on anything. We've got a door exiting right here. We're going to be removing that door, setting it up against one of the walls, and then we're going to be covering that uh entry into this room with plastic so no dust uh will actually travel out into the rest of the house.
