What happens here
Once the railing posts are securely fastened, complete the installation by adding the post caps and base trim. Slide the one-piece base trim around the bottom of the post, covering the mounting hardware for a clean finish. Then, place the post cap on top of the post. This finalizes the aesthetic and protects the post from weather elements.
Goal: Complete the aesthetic finish and weather protection for the railing posts.
