okay day in the life of a young electrician so first thing I do is I wake up put in my work clothes got my all black timberland steel toes these are awesome I usually wear boots but for today's job I'm mainly going to be inside someone's house go to my work van oh my gosh my Milwaukee packouts are everywhere got to arrange that soon so on my way to the customer house and today we are installing a level two electric vehicle charger Tesla wall connector for a customer who has a brand new Tesla Model 3 when we got here we immediately went to the basement to check where their main panel was and gosh it was a nightmare cuz the customer had a finished ceing and we had to cut holes in order to run the wire thankfully we only had to make two holes as we found a crawl space in their basement crawling in there I felt like Spider-Man once we got the wire ran in the basement I went to the garage all right I'm drilling I then drilled my hole and then prepared for the Tesla charger installation I installed a metal junction box ended up installing 3/4 in ENT conduit in the garage I ran six gauge wire to the Tesla charger since it was on a 50 amp breaker always use a level when mounting an EV charger you want to make sure the charger is straight I do my wire termination two hot wires and one ground wire get the Tesla charger at 240 volts and boom just like that electric vehicle charger complete customer satisfied i p my tool belt away and that is what a day in the life of an electrician looks like
