What happens here

This project showcases an electrician's process to repair a damaged Electric Vehicle (EV) charger and upgrade its charging capabilities. The original charger cable was ripped out due to an electric car sliding on an icy driveway. The electrician replaces the damaged components, modifies the internal wiring for increased amperage (from 30A to 40A, allowing faster charging from 18 miles/hour to 24 miles/hour), and reinstalls the unit, ensuring full functionality and improved performance.
