Install the Fluidmaster Soft Spa Bidet in Under 30 Minutes – That Fix It Guy DIY Upgrade

What happens here

First, pop off the protective cap from the bidet seat's water inlet. Connect the half-inch by half-inch supply line provided with the bidet seat to this inlet. Hand-tighten it, then use a crescent wrench to give it an additional quarter to three-quarters of a turn for a secure, leak-free seal. Fluidmaster supply lines feature durable white rubber gaskets that tend to last longer than traditional black rubber. Next, disconnect the existing supply line from the toilet's fill valve at the bottom of the tank. Install the brass T-valve (also provided) to the toilet fill valve, hand-tightening it.

Goal: Attach the bidet seat's water supply line to the seat's inlet and then install the T-valve to the toilet's fill valve.

this rotating 90, and we're going to tighten on the 1/2 in x/2 in supply line. Between a/4 to 3/4 of a turn after handtight is going to seal that up nice. One thing I love about Fluid Master supply lines is they use white rubber instead of the black, which in my opinion tends to last you a lot longer. I just had my friend Bob, the electrician, help me install this the other day. We we put a GFCI right here on the edge of my cabinet. Well, now I get that warm water. Let's put a towel down right there to catch some of this water. We'll come right up here to the toilet. This is actually a fluid master supply line right here. These are just a click lock in place. You go handtight with this and then don't go anymore. And you can see that that is the white rubber that I really like. So, we've got this brass tea that we need to install on our fill valve. Just get that hooked up. We just can go handtight. This still has mobility. You can put it where you need it. You can just take our supply and we can pop this right back on here. And this is just this, like I said, this is a fluid master click to seal. We might have to do this two hands since it is click to seal. There we go. Once you get that one click, it's sealed. It's good. They did give me an extra long supply line to put on here. But this this braided flex is really new. You see there was no indention really on that gasket at all. And so I'm just going to leave this this
