This is a quick easy way to upgrade your hygiene level. Like that. So come along. Let's get to fixing. [music] Today is an exciting day for me. We're going to get rid of this traditional style of slow close seat and we're gonna be putting in a soft spa by Fluidmaster. You folks know FluidMaster. you know, the quality. I mean, seven out of 10 toilets these days are made with Fluid Master parts on them. I've had a lot of conversation about this bad boy because I don't want to just put anything in when it comes to cleaning my bum. There's actually not much that you need to install this. You are going to need an electrical outlet. Check. We just did that the other day. Screwdriver, caresscent wrench, and a disposable cup. It even comes with a supply line. I mean, they really have thought of everything in this packaging. So, Fluid Master went, they pulled all the best bedet seats on the market. They looked at them, checked them out, and then they made their own. Go to fluidmaster.com right now. Use the promo code bliss. You're going to pick this bad boy up for a fraction of the price. And then you've got all the reliability that you could ask for out of a Fluid Master product. Like the reality is, I bet it takes about a half hour. You got a manual. You've got detailed pictures giving you step by step. The other lovely thing that I love about Fluid Master, they've got this 1-800 number down here. You ever have a problem with their products, give them a call. They actually help over 40,000 people a year solve toilet issues with their products. Very cool, dude. All right, so we will go down to the toilet shut off valve. This is a multi-turn straight stop. And you just want to turn clockwise until it shuts off. Give your toilet a flush. Make sure the water's off. Next thing you got to do on this particular toilet is we got to pop these little caps right here. I'll do that with just a little utility knife. All right. It kind of just pulls out and in. And now you could take a flathead screwdriver, loosen the bolts, and remove the nuts from the bottom. And we're just able to pull this whole thing off. Here's a little tip. That disposable cup. Put a little bit of water in it. Now we're ready to mount the brackets and stuff for this seat. Okay, this is where this little template right here comes into play. This works if you have an elongated or a standard size bowl. This is elongated, so it's going to go right up against the edge. And if it wasn't, well then it if it was a smaller bowl, it probably would stick out just a little bit more. You want to grab this bracket, this and you just want to put it right where the setup is. Okay. So, with this seat fastening system right here, you want to keep this screw in there with that little thing of water you just got. You want to dunk this. It's going to slide a lot easier into place if you just get that wet. Okay. And that really just helps put that down there. Pop. They pop and slide. So much easier than if you didn't do that. Get that back to where we need it to go. Make sure that's all lined up. I love that they give you this little template right here. You have to remove the screw because you got to add this little bracket right here. That just sits in like so. Now you'll start tightening down. And then you can see on the bottom as you start tightening this how that goes up into place. And that's it. That's where we're looking at. That's put in. Now, we don't need this anymore. Next, we're going to come over to this toilet seat. We're going to pop the cap off this rotating 90, and we're going to tighten on the 1/2 in x/2 in supply line. Between a/4 to 3/4 of a turn after handtight is going to seal that up nice. One thing I love about Fluid Master supply lines is they use white rubber instead of the black, which in my opinion tends to last you a lot longer. I just had my friend Bob, the electrician, help me install this the other day. We we put a GFCI right here on the edge of my cabinet. Well, now I get that warm water. Let's put a towel down right there to catch some of this water. We'll come right up here to the toilet. This is actually a fluid master supply line right here. These are just a click lock in place. You go handtight with this and then don't go anymore. And you can see that that is the white rubber that I really like. So, we've got this brass tea that we need to install on our fill valve. Just get that hooked up. We just can go handtight. This still has mobility. You can put it where you need it. You can just take our supply and we can pop this right back on here. And this is just this, like I said, this is a fluid master click to seal. We might have to do this two hands since it is click to seal. There we go. Once you get that one click, it's sealed. It's good. They did give me an extra long supply line to put on here. But this this braided flex is really new. You see there was no indention really on that gasket at all. And so I'm just going to leave this this way. They gave you the option. If you needed the option, they gave you the option. Now we can just take this whole thing, set it right on here and you just push it back and it's going to click right into place. Let's go ahead. Get this covering off of here. Give that tag a little sniff. Get that out of our way. Next, you want to take the supply line from the toilet seat, connect it into the tee, handtighten it, and then tighten it down no more than a full turn with your pliers or your crescent wrench. You get up in here. All this is hooked up now. You've got the water hooked up. And now, let's turn this water back on. Test for leaks. When you turn this all the way on, you always want to go a little quarter turn back. That way, on a multi-turn valve, it doesn't stick. Once all that stuff is hooked up, you've looked for leaks. Now you just want to take this piece of blue tape right here off the wand cover. Give that a plug in right there. Well, we're good there. Oh, don't I don't know what you're doing. Okay, so it's just testing itself or something. Okay. I thought I was fixing to get sprayed. If you ever needed to take this off, there is a little eject button right here that will help you. Just as soon as you push this, you can just pop that toilet seat right back off. We'll go ahead. We'll remove the sensor sticker. We'll keep our hand over the sensor with the cup in hand, and we'll hit this auto button over here. That's going to turn it on. All right. So, it's it's working. Push that again. It'll stop. Okay, it's good. It works. Pop some batteries in this bad boy. Those Toshibas. Got to have the sensor covered. Got to have dry. Feel the CFMs. All right. That's awesome. There also is a deodorizer and a nightlight. And well, I guess I didn't film installing this onto the cabinet. It's got some 3M tape on the back. Line it up. Just shot two little screws that came with it in there. Good to roll. We got that soft spa hooked up. Bum's living it now with that warm toilet seat, too. All right, folks. There you go. If you use the link below, go to fluidmaster.com right now, you're going to pick this up for $2.99. Use the promo code bliss. the features that they're offering with this thing right now, you're not getting another one for this price. It will install in about a half an hour. If you have a little bit of supply line issues or you need to redo a couple of things there, it will take you just a little bit longer. But overall, this is a pretty good DIY install for yourself.
