Impact vs drill

What happens here

The presenter concludes the demonstration by reiterating that while both tools *can* technically drive a screw, the impact driver does so with significantly less effort, no stripped screws, and allows for one-handed operation. He emphasizes that the drill/driver requires much more work, causes wrist twisting, gets super hot, and cuts out on higher speeds. He recommends the impact driver for driving large fasteners.

Goal: Conclude the comparison and provide a clear recommendation based on the demonstrated performance.

  • Milwaukee Impact Driver Milwaukee — Recommended tool for driving large fasteners
  • 5/16" x 6" Screws — The type of fastener discussed in the comparison

Easy. Not stripping screws. One-handed use. Drives it perfectly. So, both these will drive the screw like you saw, but it takes a lot more work with the drill to drive that screw. Between just twisting your wrist, the drill getting super hot, it doesn't even work on number two speed. It cuts right out. So, I don't think I'm going to pick the impact when it comes to driving large fasteners. Anyways, I got stuff to do. I'll catch you guys later. Peace.
