What happens here

This video demonstrates the difference in performance between a Milwaukee impact driver and a Milwaukee drill/driver when driving a large 5/16" x 6" screw into pressure-treated 4x4 wood. It highlights the impact driver's superiority for this task, emphasizing ease of use, reduced wrist strain, and consistent performance compared to the drill/driver's struggles with torque and overheating.

Pressure on my wrist. Which one of these would you use to drive this? Let's get after it. Brand new 5/16 by 6-in Both of these drills are the cheapest that Milwaukee makes. They're non-fuel. We have the drill given maximum torque, speed one, and took the clutch right out of it. I'm going to use two hands. Look at that. pressure on my wrist. Uh, two speed. What the hell? Doesn't even have the power to drive it on two. Impact, one-handed. Easy. Not stripping screws. One-handed use. Drives it perfectly. So, both these will drive the screw like you saw, but it takes a lot more work with the drill to drive that screw. Between just twisting your wrist, the drill getting super hot, it doesn't even work on number two speed. It cuts right out. So, I don't think I'm going to pick the impact when it comes to driving large fasteners. Anyways, I got stuff to do. I'll catch you guys later. Peace.
