What happens here

Put on protective gloves to reach into the ductwork. Carefully remove any large items, such as dryer sheets, toys, or screws, that may have fallen inside. Pay attention to potential sharp edges from the metal duct or loose screws. After removing larger items, use a vacuum cleaner (preferably a shop vac) to thoroughly clean out dust, lint, and smaller debris from the duct interior.

Goal: Before finalizing the installation, thoroughly clean out any accumulated debris, dust, or lost items from inside the ductwork.
