I usually shy away from building curves in to decks, but incorporating curves in to a patio? Love it

What happens here

Before laying any new pavers, it's crucial to prepare the base layer for subsequent sections. Use a long wooden plank or a specialized screed board to evenly spread and level the granular base material (typically a mix of crushed stone and sand). Drag the plank across the area, removing any high spots and filling in low spots, to create a perfectly flat and consistent surface. This step is critical for ensuring the stability and evenness of the finished paver surface and should be repeated for each new area before laying stones.

Goal: Create a flat and stable bedding layer for new pavers
