Starting the Machine and Engaging the Mulcher

What happens here

To start the Bobcat T86, first push the top green button on the A-pillar to wake up the machine. Enter the provided code on the touch-screen display. Once the machine is awake, push and hold the same green start button to ignite the engine. To make the hydraulics live, push the green hydraulic unlock button located below the start button, which will illuminate. Engage the mulcher by pulling and releasing the yellow trigger on the right-hand joystick. For optimal mulching efficiency, activate the 'Speed Management' feature by pushing the 'snail' button on the left joystick (or through the touchscreen) and setting it to around 50%. This reroutes hydraulic power to the mulcher head and controls the track speed, ensuring consistent mulching without sudden jerks. Always raise the mulching head off the ground before engaging it. The hydraulic pressure gauge on the mulcher head indicates the current pressure (should fluctuate around 3000 PSI during active mulching).
