I Put the ToolTuff HyperSplit to Work — Here's What Happened
What happens here
For larger, heavier logs that are too cumbersome to lift horizontally, switch the log splitter to its vertical operating mode. This is achieved by tipping the machine onto its end, allowing the splitting wedge to move downwards onto a log placed directly on the ground. Position the log upright in front of the wedge. Use the control lever to drive the wedge down, splitting the log directly where it sits, eliminating the need for heavy lifting. This vertical method is particularly effective for thick, stubborn logs and reduces physical strain.
Goal: Split oversized logs without heavy lifting
