Apply Roof Underlayment and Shingles

What happens here

A layer of house wrap, such as DuPont Tyvek HomeWrap, is rolled out and fastened to the roof decking to provide a waterproof barrier. Subsequently, asphalt shingles are laid in overlapping rows, starting from the bottom edge of the roof, and secured with a nail gun to create the finished roofing surface.

Goal: Cover the roof decking with a waterproof underlayment and then install asphalt shingles.
