Hydro dipping a Chainsaw

Bragi what color sweep Hydra dip this chainsaw won't wants to do well collars yeah what color would you pick all right so we got to pull that apart we're gonna be hydro dippin this chainsaw but as a dad what I really wanted to do was start to get my son familiar with tools this is a boy that doesn't know a wrench from a screwdriver so today's video could get kind of interesting at times guys [Music] righty-tighty lefty-loosey you're tightening right now okay my bad that's all right Brady tell you that was a counterclockwise is loosening I don't think there's any other screws besides easing that one over there lately he's been fascinated with Hydra dipping anything that's not been screwed to the floor has been getting Hydra dipped and that includes his shoes a hat even a water canteen I don't think this comes all the way out I think I gotta turn it upside down for it to come out is that one yeah we'll just give it a gentle yank oh there you go return sorry how works what else do you want to take off because we've only we were kind of only going skin deep at this point we've only got the top cover off you want to try to take this off and dip it so I'm gonna let him strip this down as far as he wants to go my thought is the more he takes off the more he has to put back together the more he gets familiar with tools I would leave the rest on I just think I'm just a break in this and this would be all good and you want to leave this orange handle here yeah cuz that has instructions on it okay so we'll take this off so we need a 13 mil socket and a driver it's over here you might answer that will swit that switches direction now stop now if you switch it try to keep turning it the up seat so which way is tightening in which ways looser right yeah there you go alright pop them to off now your loot your go the other way alright yep and there you go nope yep there you go alright so you can just pull that off carefully see don't cut yourself look how that comes apart because you got to put it back together when we're done so I will do these four pieces I've got this one cleaned up I'll just do these do you have a bucket will clean them in a bucket cuz we need to spray them with brake cleaner how's that smell it's just as smell as bad as once you hydro [Music] there's a lot of dust in there Colton you see all them all that dust none of that there's not gonna be any paint that stick that's gonna flake off and it's gonna look bad you want to take an air chuck and blow it out probably because I'm know and one of the things you don't want to do is ever aim it at your skin or anybody else's skin cuz it will peel this your skin right off or take an eye right out all right you want to start working on that one or do you want to finish that one up I first I want to finish something I don't want to work on another project my mom saying she spins spins spins in circles 50% and bye-bye for a couple of years you got your parts cleaned to your satisfaction now I recommend scuffing the outside scuff it and the hold the paint a lot better see this is a pretty huge class right just needs a touch I learned in a body shop with the best way to discuss something and prep for paint is it's called crosshatch all you do one way and then we go the other [Music] you gotta let up - what yeah no you don't squeeze it you pull your side how many Pollock does it take to get the cover up a bit [Applause] [Music] I'll trust you judgment as a gold fog goes across my garage and I'm like oh wow okay that's kind of cool don't put it on my motor dude Wow okay that's flippin cool can you do another one or two get add more paint okay yeah okay buddy okay whoa that really sucked the paint up I'm telling you that is pretty cool-looking all right last one last one now let's let it dry and put it back together sound like a plan [Music] so this is the engine cover this is the hard one all right now I just need the screws [Music] try to catch me howl Anatomy so if you tighten one all the way down it may can't cantilever the other side or make it kiddie Wampus oh no Katie want this kiddie Wampus and then what what happens is when it's kiddie Wampus like that you can't get the other side to tighten right you don't get a good seal so you put all four in and then you tighten one down the one across from it boom boom in a crosswise pattern [Music] there we go and kind of felt that click in place you know you can put the cover back off I don't think it goes like this right I'd have to agree with you I think it goes like this either doesn't yep [Music] [Applause] you got it on upside-down all right [Music] oh they're all there righty-tighty lefty-loosey I don't stay there you go I'll go the other way yup there you go get it finger tight all the way down one more [Music] okay so let's tighten up we got tighten these up finger tight doesn't cut it so let's go grab a driver in a socket like we did yesterday [Applause] do you remember what size we used I know it was 13 isn't this supposed to be their day up we just have it turned the wrong way yeah kind of nice I do have it tightening oh yeah okay there you go oh they're up there all right let's see it hold her up that actually is kind of cool Wow your hide your dipping is getting better get your hydro dipped hat next to your hydro dip chainsaw it's kind of fun so yeah as wicked I like it that is pretty cool yeah that's cool that is cool yeah all right what's next anything well yeah only what's next for the next video maybe these guys should say what do they want to do mom I did something yeah well if we're gonna hydro dip something else then you leave it in the comments ask what we should do all right the hydro dip your um arms next you already got some on your hand my nose pickers are Hydra dip that's why they call me gold finger to call it knows Vickers so don't stay safe you guys god bless and go get him
