8 New Dewalt tools

alright guys we are that world of concrete Lafayette Convention Center today I know not everybody can make it to the show so we're gonna be taking you on a tour going through the show checking out the booths and I'm getting right to all the cool stuff don't waste any more time let's just get into it looking at some of our 60 volt tools to use our flexible battery system and we've got three new up tools that are being upgraded with power they're gonna come out here the order I stopped you for a minute Nate can you explain very clearly and just concisely what does the 60 volt flex vault system actually mean so the easiest thing to point out here is these batteries are set up with both 20 volt and 60 volt capabilities and so when I put this on a 20 volt tool I'm gonna get six amp hour or sorry nine hours of runtime so I get more runtime but when I have my tools that are 60 volt I put this on there and I draw more power so the battery actually run down a little faster but you're getting the power you need for those heavy applications so really it's just a battery we've developed that you can put on both your 20 volt and your 6 volt tools and you don't worry about having you know three or four different battery systems to work with to get the power I know the one time you want so these these units here are actually 60 volt units have been upgraded so they actually have better improved electronics bunch of motors it allowed us to get more this technology evolves were completely totally involving our tools so they have a very similar look to what you've seen on the market before but we're able to give you more power you mean that this reciprocating no this was art we had a 60 volt version of before that's that unit there on the wall but we're able to give it more power now based on new technologies so this bees launched about three years ago we launched our system and now we've gotten new versions of them that are with new technologies come out with motor controls and electronics we're actually able to get more power out of the same style of unit with internal upgrades - yeah if we want to do this circular saw side-by-side you actually will see that you can go through much faster with the new one versus all right so what we're gonna do is nate is going to run one what battery technology were using now using the flexible battery technology on our sixty volts are brand new saw brand new pet and then we're news last year [Music] and that's cutting through three pieces of 3/4 plywood all in one one shot nice clean even cuts now the upgrade unit your buddy just tell a little more power there now you were trying to make it look good for the camp not at all that's easy that's correct so these are gonna be launching you'll start to see them in stores in April 22 April 21 yep all right guys let's look at these one more time but let's do them side by each that way we can see the difference in cut the new saw came in at just a little bit under 8 seconds while the old saw took almost 13 seconds to do the same thing yeah if you include the 60 volt tools it's over 240 and 200 of those are on the 20 volt max system that's our largest system all right so we've got a few brand new products here that were sneak preview at World of Concrete 2020 the first one is our new 12 amp fast charger this is a fastest charger that we make and what we do is besides just the flexible batteries that maximize your run time we want to make sure that when you do finally need a recharge you can do it quickly so it's our fastest rate it works with any 20 volt max or flex volt battery it'll give you an hour or less to fully recharge all right another news new preview here here's our brand-new engine 3/4 s max cordless combination rotary hammer what's really exciting about this tool is our wireless tool control it's actually integrated right inside the hammer so you can remotely turn on our guitar DCB 585 dust extractor the other big thing about this hammer as we follow our cordless SDS max hammers it has shocks and it has re clutch system its shipping now you can get it now and yeah it's pretty awesome started shipping last Friday and it's gotten cut in half Jules so it's pretty powerful so this is part of the flexible manufacture with the largest number of cordless SDS max combination hammers in the industry another new sneak preview here is our 12 volt and 20 volt max task light so this will fit the space we have the area lighting that's available cordless now we have handheld lights but this is a perfect product when you need to bring this from place to place and set it down and be hands-free so the handle doubles as a stand so you can adjust the angle how you want on the ground or you can use the built-in tripod mount to set this up and then do it this way and point it where you need the light this is our magnetic mount DCL 0 for 4 and just a super convenient light where you can point where you want but it's magnet mountable so you can set that up anywhere you've got magnetic surface yeah so this will rotate this way as well as that way yeah you can clip it onto a belt so this is a 20 volt product but we also have a 1200 max version of this light all of these will be out in the spring it's actually our sticky system so sticky system yeah so Yanks what it allows ya sticky so for for conduit clips and also lady washers you're putting them on this magnetic piece allows the lading washer actually stand so for those individuals doing water proofing puts it right in place yep yeah so this is actually our cordless concrete so it has right around 90 joules the nice thing about this you're able to adjust the power to enable it to go in the contrary it's a really powerful tool know so we do have that solution but the nice thing about this no fuse right using that co2 cartridge or having those fumes can be pretty cumbersome so the nice thing about this solution is you know you have all the power that you need and poured the system to be able to drive that pin and have that solution that that contractor needs to yep drywall track right yeah yep drywall Tracy Electrical Trades that mechanical electrical plumbing trade so it's a very versatile tool Dewalt concrete nailed the cordless concrete nail all right guys meet Jeff Jeff what's new with the wall and generator hey this is our new Dewalt 2200 eye inverter generator this unit is 2200 surge Watts 1700 running Watts is equipped with 20 amp GFCI duplex outlet USB port 12 volt DC charger comes with the alligator clip so if you need to charge the battery with it as your eco mode as well as your normal mode so if you're just looking to charge cell phones or small batteries little wattage devices you can put it on Eco mode which this unit over here is running right now see it's very quiet and have a conversation around it while it's charging your low wattage items the unit is also equipped with our Co protect technology and that's a carbon monoxide shut down feature so if there's any rapid increases in CO or if you're running this in an enclosed or poorly ventilated space and the co levels rise it will automatically shut down to prevent the end user from harmful Co emissions alright guys I'm with build from the wall and the wall makes pressure washers right yeah with the aphid a group and we manufactured with the wall pressure washers it's coming out but it's not even here now you guys also have a battery well let me clarify that it's a gas-powered unit to use this battery technology for starting in the spirit got some very very unique features in that when you pull the trigger it starts the engine when you release the trigger it shuts the engine shuts down until you're ready to use it again when you pull the trigger it starts up the trigger to initiate the action to start the engine when does that come thanks again and the last thing to show you is right in the middle there this is our new chop sight radio you see we already have a full-size radio that gives you maximum sound has a built in charger this we launched last year is something that's more portable for people that stream via bluetooth this product is mid-sized it adds am/fm radio built-in antenna that stores right in the handle there this will work with 12 volt 20 volt max or AC power or flexible batteries as well it's got great quality sound with two woofers - tweeters and it'll also give you phone charging while you while you use it so it's kind of all your great features but at a very convenient portable size all right Thank You Luke the rules coming up screaming 2020 right that's right alright guys well that's our video from the waltz booth at World of Concrete hope you enjoyed it what do you guys want to see next let me know in the
