Install Purlins into Notches

So, I've just notched this out 2 and 1/4 in because we're going to use 2x. I just ripped this down to 2 and 1/2 in. So, we've notched this out 2 and 1/4, so we've got 1 and 1/2 of material and then it's still sticking up 3/4 of an inch. That way, you can go over top. We can fasten it here. This part is going to overlap our next
