How to Talk Your WIFE into letting you buy a SAWMILL
What happens here
After cutting the first flat face, use the sawmill's hydraulic log turners to rotate the log 90 degrees. Make additional cuts to remove more slabs and create a second flat face. Repeat this process of rotating and cutting until the log is squared on all four sides, forming what is known as a 'cant'. This squaring process is crucial for producing consistent dimensional lumber.
Goal: Transform a round log into a squared cant for further milling.
