How to Service (oil change) Honda Pioneer 1000 | Easy, Simple and Thorough

What happens here

Start the UTV engine and let it idle for a minute or two. This allows the new oil to circulate through the engine and filters. Turn off the engine. Locate the dipstick (next to the oil filler cap). Remove the dipstick, wipe it clean, reinsert it fully, then remove it again to check the oil level. The oil level should be between the 'L' (low) and 'F' (full) marks. Add more oil if needed. To reset the maintenance reminder, turn the key to the 'ON' position (without starting the engine). Press and hold the 'SELECT' button (usually on the dashboard next to the display). While holding 'SELECT,' turn the key to 'OFF,' then back to 'ON.' Continue holding the button until the wrench icon flashes and disappears, indicating the reminder has been reset. Finally, shut off the engine.

Goal: Start the engine to circulate new oil, then check the oil level with the dipstick and reset the maintenance reminder on the dashboard.

You can pause it right there and get your part number. That is your small filter. That's your DCT filter. Now, you have a larger filter. Very, very common Honda filter. Okay. I think this is also used in some other machines. Super common, those two
