Release and Remove the Blind

What happens here

Before removing the main blind unit, raise the blind completely so that the slats are bunched at the top. This makes the blind lighter and easier to manage during removal. Once the blind is raised, locate the metal clips (or hardware levers) on both ends of the headrail, which secure the blind to the window frame. Using either the painter's 5-in-1 tool or a flathead screwdriver, slide the tool into the clip and apply a slight downward or rotating pressure to open the clip. Repeat for the other side. Once both clips are released, the entire blind assembly can be slid out and removed from the window frame.
