How To Remove & Install Shutters. Removing Window Shutters.

What happens here

To ensure proper reinstallation, it is crucial to label each shutter and its orientation. Place a piece of painter's tape on the back of the shutter. Using a permanent marker, draw an 'Up' arrow indicating the top of the shutter. Additionally, assign a number to each shutter (e.g., '1' for the first shutter removed). The speaker recommends starting from one side of the house (e.g., left) and numbering sequentially to maintain a logical system. Do not mark the house directly, as paint will not cover the marks, and they will become visible even after the shutters are reinstalled.

Goal: Create a system for accurate reinstallation of shutters.

You know, I can start right here and go number one from left to right or you can start over there. Whatever works for you. You got to get some type of numbering system. So this shutter will get back up to where it goes. And you can't put a mark on the house because even though the shutter is going to go up, you end up painting that mark. So it's just good.
