Um, this is Chris, the Idaho Painter. In this video, we're going to show you how we go about taking off shutters to prepare your house to paint. And in the background, we got two sets of shutters here. And typically, your shutters are installed two different ways. And they're either be installed by a Phillips head screw. So, you're going to want a screwdriver or a drill with a number three Phillips head screw. or they're going to be installed with what we call a quick lock shutter button. And the quick lock shutter button, these are typically permanent style fixtures that the shutter is installed with. And there'll be a hole drilled in there. This um what we call we call them shutter buttons will be pushed into that hole and it's got a barb style of fixture on it that it doesn't allow it to back out. Every now and then with these type of shutter buttons on there, you can get behind here and pull the shutter off and and if you're lucky, the shutter will come off and the button will be intact.
