Trowel and Edge Steps

What happens here

Use a hand trowel to smooth out the surface of the concrete. For the step nosings (the rounded edge of each step), use specialized edging tools to create a clean, rounded profile. This helps prevent chipping and improves the aesthetic appeal of the stairs. Work the tools using the 'heel-to-toe' technique, gently lifting the leading edge to prevent digging into the concrete.
