How To Paint Or Refinish Kitchen Cabinet Doors. Cabinet Painting Hacks.

What happens here

Prior to spraying the actual cabinet doors, test the HVLP sprayer's pattern on a piece of scrap material, such as cardboard or brown paper, to ensure it's properly adjusted for an even, consistent spray. Once the pattern is correct, hang a prepared cabinet door or drawer on the portable spray rack. Apply two even coats of ProMar lacquer undercoater to the entire surface. Allow adequate flash-off time between coats as per product instructions.

Goal: Verify sprayer settings and apply the initial protective base coat to cabinet components.
