How to paint a shower or bathtub.

What happens here

Perform a final, thorough cleaning of the shower using TSP (Trisodium Phosphate) cleaner. Mix the TSP, which was provided in the kit, with warm water in a bucket according to product instructions. Wipe down all shower surfaces, including the walls and floor, with the TSP solution. It is recommended to perform this TSP cleaning twice. The shower fixtures (showerhead, handles, spout) and their escutcheon plates should also be removed prior to this step to ensure all hidden areas are cleaned and sanded. After the TSP cleaning, rinse the entire shower thoroughly with clean water. Finally, allow the shower to air dry completely for at least one full day before proceeding to the next steps.

Goal: Perform a final, thorough cleaning with TSP, rinse, and allow the shower to completely dry.

We bought the scotching plate out right here so we can plain sand behind that the shower. So there was a plate down here on the nozz. We actually pulled that plate off so we can actually paint and clean behind there also. [Music] So, now we're getting it pretty close to being clean. We're actually using our TSP that they actually provided in the kit. Now, we got it said just to put it in a gallon of warm water. It's in our bucket. We're going to rinse it.
