How to install secondary remote on Massey Ferguson Tractor
What happens here
Position the quick disconnect coupler assembly on the tractor fender where it will be accessible and not interfere with other components. Initially, secure the assembly temporarily using a zip tie or clamp to hold it in place. Using a punch and hammer, carefully mark the locations for the two primary mounting holes on the fender. Remove the temporary fasteners, then use a 1/8-inch drill bit to drill pilot holes through the marked points. Follow up by drilling through with a 3/8-inch drill bit to create the final size holes. Install the Grade 8 bolts with lock washers through these holes, securing the quick disconnect assembly. Loosely tighten the first two bolts. Identify a third location for an additional mounting hole to further stabilize the assembly. Mark this spot with a punch, then drill pilot and final holes as before. Install the third bolt with a lock washer.
Goal: Create mounting points for the quick disconnects on the fender
