Water and Activate Polymeric Sand

What happens here

Once the polymeric sand is swept into the joints and compacted, lightly mist the entire paved area with water using a hose and sprayer. The water activates the polymers in the sand, causing them to bind together and harden, creating durable, weed-resistant, and insect-deterrent joints. Be careful not to use too much water, which can wash the sand out of the joints. Re-compact lightly if needed after watering.

Goal: Lightly mist the polymeric sand to activate its bonding agents, ensuring hard and stable joints.
