How to install a ChargePoint EV Charger in 3 Minutes!
What happens here
To create a channel for the electrical cable, use a keyhole saw to cut a rectangular opening in the drywall between the electrical panel and the planned charger location. After removing the cut drywall section, drill a hole through any studs encountered in the wall cavity. Then, feed the 8/2 Romex cable through the drilled holes in the studs and into the electrical panel. Secure the Romex cable into the electrical panel using a 1/2-inch Romex connector.
Goal: Establish a hidden conduit for the electrical cable from the panel to the charger location.
