Setting the Ridge Rafter

What happens here

A temporary vertical support, referred to as a 'pin,' is installed to hold the ridge rafter in place temporarily. Once the pin is secure, the long ridge rafter is hoisted and positioned onto this temporary support. This allows the crew to start setting the common rafters, which will attach to the ridge and the main beams. The first few common rafters are shown being installed.
