How To Frame A Roof Over A Deck

What happens here

With the large beams being too heavy for manual lifting, the team rents a Genie lift to safely raise the structural members into position. The lift is used to hoist the first main beam onto temporary vertical supports. Once the beam is elevated, a secondary support piece is nailed to the house wall, and the main beam is then screwed into this support to ensure it is level and securely attached to the existing structure.
