How To Frame A Roof Over A Deck

What happens here

With all the necessary cuts marked on the rafter, the bird's mouth is cut using a circular saw for the main angled cut and a jigsaw to complete the smaller, internal cut. The soffit overhang plumb cut is also made with the circular saw. This process is repeated for all rafters. The video then transitions to showing the rapid installation of numerous rafters, demonstrating the efficiency gained from pre-cutting. Workers are seen on ladders and scaffold planks, securing the rafters to the ridge and the main beams, quickly forming the roof's skeletal structure.
