HOW TO FIX A PAINT RUN. Painting hacks repairing drips & runs. Fixing paint sags.

What happens here

After wet sanding with the medium-grit sponge, switch to a fine-grit sanding sponge. Lightly dry sand the entire repaired area to achieve an even smoother finish and remove any remaining minor imperfections. The goal is to ensure the surface is perfectly smooth to the touch. Once dry sanded, wipe the area clean with a rag and carefully inspect it. Feel the surface for any remaining ridges, deep pockets, or unevenness that might require further attention.

holes that I need to actually bondo. I was using a medium sanding sponge. Got it all wet sanded. I got a fine sanding sponge here. I'm just going to lightly go over it, dry sand it just lightly to smooth out any more of the ridges around here where it took off all the paint. I can still feel just a little bit of the ridges around the edges. So, I'm actually going to use my fine sponge. I'm wetting it and I'm going to wet sand that with a fine 3M sanding sponge.
