How to fix a busted garden hose!
What happens here
For a broken hose end, use a male or female clamp-style adapter from the repair kit. After cutting the hose and removing any internal 'no-kink' tabs, ensure the two halves of the clamp-style adapter are slightly loosened but not completely disassembled to avoid losing screws. Firmly slide the hose end into the fitting, ensuring it goes past the barbed section inside. Evenly tighten the screws on both sides of the adapter with a multi-bit screwdriver until the hose is securely gripped and water-tight. Avoid overtightening.
Goal: Replace a broken hose end with a new male or female adapter.
