Drain Old Engine Oil and Remove Filter

How to change oil in John Deere Gator 825i
What happens here
Locate the oil pan drain plug, which is typically a 14mm bolt on this model. Position an oil drain pan underneath the plug. Before fully removing the plug, ensure the cap of the drain pan is open to allow air flow and prevent a vacuum seal. Carefully loosen the drain plug and let the old oil drain completely into the pan. Once the oil flow slows to a trickle, reinstall the drain plug, hand-tightening it first, then using a wrench for a final snug fit, being careful not to overtighten. Next, use an oil filter wrench to remove the old oil filter, which may be very tight from the factory. Have rags ready to catch any residual oil as the filter comes loose.
Goal: Safely remove old oil and oil filter
