HOW DOES A NO TILL SEED DRILL WORK..SEEDING NEW PASTURE TIPS, IDEAS AND THOUGHTS

What happens here

The presenter, visibly tired after hours of operation, checks the acreage counter on the Haybuster 107C no-till drill, which shows approximately 1.5 acres have been seeded so far. He estimates another 5 acres remain to be planted before sunset. Looking forward, he stresses the critical need for a 'light drizzle' for about three days following planting. This specific type of rain is ideal for ensuring proper seed hydration and germination, which is crucial for the successful establishment of the fescue and clover. The goal is to maximize the chances of a lush, healthy pasture.

Goal: After seeding, the presenter checks the acreage covered by the drill and emphasizes the importance of a light, continuous rain to ensure successful germination and establishment of the new pasture.
