What happens here
Similar to windows, entry doors and sliding glass doors require careful masking. Masking tape is applied around the door frames, door handles, and any glass inserts. Large sheets of plastic are then used to cover the entire door surface or large glass panels, securing them with tape. For sliding glass doors, the entire frame and glass area are protected, often requiring wider or longer plastic sheeting. This ensures that the door itself and its components remain free of paint when the surrounding siding is being sprayed.
Goal: Extend masking techniques to doors, including entry doors and sliding glass doors, using tape and plastic to protect hardware, glass, and adjacent areas from paint.
